Unlike acupuncture which uses needles, acupressure is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on the body with your fingers, elbows, or even feet. Acupressure studies have found that the stimulation of these pressure points causes the nervous system and brain to release peptides that are beneficial for treating a variety of symptoms including nausea. 

Our bracelets are designed to be worn like your normal jewelry. When you are ready to use for acupressure, properly positioning your bracelet is essential for effective nausea relief. Follow the instructions on our How to wear page.

One bracelet is needed on each arm for nausea relief to be effective. 

When used for acupressure, bracelets can be worn continuously while symptoms persist for up to 48 hours. We recommend not getting your jewelry wet and taking your jewelry off before bed.

Regularly cleaning your jewelry is essential. For gold vermeil and sterling silver jewelry, we recommend routinely wiping down your bracelets with a soft damp cloth and allowing them to dry completely. You can also try using a small amount of mild dish soap and warm water to clean the piece. Rinse it thoroughly and let it dry before buffing it with a soft non-abrasive cloth or polishing cloth. Doing so will help keep your jewelry looking new for years to come.

Vermeil and sterling silver will experience tarnish over time due to environmental factors like humidity. Each bracelet comes with a Harmonia polishing cloth that can be used to gently buff away tarnish. Do not over-polish.
