How to Wear

When not using your bracelets for nausea relief, Harmonia bracelets are meant to be worn like your normal gold or silver jewelry with the flat edge of the dome against your skin. Use the following steps when you are ready to use your bracelets for acupressure relief.

When used for acupressure, two bracelets, one bracelet on each arm, are needed. Bracelets can be worn continuously while symptoms persist for up to 48 hours. To best care for your gold and silver, we recommend not getting your jewelry wet and taking your jewelry off before bed. For full care instructions, visit our FAQ

Hinge Cuff
Acupressure Bracelet

ONE

Open the bracelet by pulling each side apart. The adjustable hinge will allow the bracelet to open and close.

TWO

After opening the bracelet, slip the bracelet on at the wrist. We find it easiest to approach the arm at the side of our wrist. With the flat part of the dome against your skin, your bracelets are ready for everyday wear. To activate acupressure relief continue to step 3.

THREE

Rotate the cuff bracelet so the spinner component is on the interior of your wrist while the hinge is on the outside of your wrist.

FOUR

To find the P6 acupressure point (aka Nei-kuan) measure 3 fingertips width along the interior of your arm from the center of your wrist crease.

FIVE

Rotate the half dome and place it between the two tendons on the P6 point. You should see our “H” logo on the flat side of the dome. It should be snug enough to provide pressure but not too tight to cause discomfort.

SIX

Take a deep breath, the gentle pressure of the bracelet on your P6 point and wrist helps stimulate the pressure points that can help relieve nausea. Two bracelets (one on each wrist) are needed for acupressure relief.

Tighten the bracelet by sliding the “H” logo bead up to a comfortable position below the wrist. With the flat part of the dome against your skin, your bracelets are ready for everyday wear. To activate acupressure relief continue to step 3.

Rotate the half dome and place the top of the dome between the two tendons on the P6 point.

Hold both chain ends and slide the H bead to a snug fit. It should be snug enough to provide pressure but not too tight to cause discomfort. The gentle pressure of the bracelet on your wrist helps stimulate pressure points that can help relieve nausea. Two bracelets (one on each wrist) are needed for acupressure relief.

Bracelets are to be used for acupressure relief as needed at the first signs of nausea.

Nausea and vomiting may be associated with serious conditions and you should consult a doctor if symptoms persist. You should consult your doctor before wearing them if you have problems with reduced circulation. While acupressure may be effective on its own or combined with other treatments, do not use it as a replacement for medically prescribed treatment. This product provides symptomatic relief but is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.  You should stop using the bracelets for acupressure and consult a medical professional if you experience swelling, pain, skin irritation, or numbness in your hands or fingers.
